About Me

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia (LPC009687). I hold a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University. I also hold Masters degrees from New York University and Garrett Theological Seminary.

I’ve practiced in group settings, as well as community mental health agencies. In my previous professional lives I worked for large nonprofit organizations and a consumer research company.

I’m an Atlanta native. I’ve lived in Chicago and New York, but returned home about 20 years ago. I’m married and the proud dad of our dog, Rosie, and our cat, Twyla. Music is a passion of mine and while I no longer perform, I relish listening to my vinyl collection and seeing live music. I’m also an avid reader who still prefers the feel of print over digital.
